Contest for “Write A Kick Butt Contract For Your Medical Billing Business”

We have decided to offer another contest. The prize for the winner of this contest will be a free download of our new book we are working on now titled “Write A Kick Butt Contract For Your Medical Billing Business.” We are excited about this book as so many new people to this field ask about writing their contract. We are asked almost every week for a sample contract. This book will help you design a contract that will cover your individual needs. Here are the rules.

Just offer us a topic for the next book you think we should write. What are the topics you need help with? We will be glad to consider any topics you offer, but the one that hits us as the one we want to write will be the winner and get a free copy of our new ebook. Just click on “leave a comment”, (just below this post) write your suggestion in the box and click “submit comment”. It’s that easy. We will be announcing the winner in our next newsletter. Good luck!

I think a great topic for your next book should be how to bill speech, occupational and physical therapy!

I would like to see a list of quick tips in your next book, I love to read them on your website.
You all know so much more than you even realize! – I am fairly new with billing and have a mental health provider for my first client; I have picked up so much from your web articles.
    Thank you,

I would like to see an in-depth book about appeals. There really isn’t much out there on this subject. The only source that I am aware of right now is (I belive it is called). I submit about 15 to 20 appeals per month, most of them unsuccessful. I have compiled all appeals procedures from different carriers and have about 200 form letters. But that’s just it, they are just “form letter” and I think that carriers are used to reading the same letters over and over again.

So, a book about submitting successful appeals, the appeals process and just what should be included (such as other documents) with the appeals letter, would be great.

    Thank you,

    John Schuster

PS I have a billing contract that I created from several different ones.

I am new to the forum and your site, wow, just love it. I am having a heck of a time getting my electronic secondary Medicare claims correct ~ when filling out the EOB adjustments and codes. Maybe you already address this still trying to read all the back issues, etc.

An easy to read and understand book on EHRs ~ the good the bad and ugly……..could be helpful

I think a book on how to get past the denials, with maybe the top 10/20 denials.

  10. Carol Wills Says:

I like Stephanie’s suggestion, a book on billing specifically for PT, OT and ST. But since she already suggested that, how about “Best way to organize and efficiently run a home based billing office”
